Spend a full day at Miami’s Frost Museum of Science, with access to its three-level aquarium, hands-on science exhibits, live programming, and one first-come, first-served planetarium show. Touch stingrays, see hammerhead sharks, meet a 30-foot dinosaur, and choose between Dynamic Earth and Black Holes.

Spend about 90 minutes at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge learning about Indigenous constellations, the Aurora Borealis, planets, and space travel. You’ll watch a dome presentation, then head outside for telescope viewing, Aurora photography tips, and hands-on meteorites. Clear skies matter, but a two-year rain check is included.

Spend 20 minutes under the Burke Baker Planetarium dome with high-resolution digital projections of planets, stars, galaxies, and asteroid fields. Choose from shows such as Black Holes, Passport to the Universe, and Lamps of Atlantis. Your ticket covers one show only, while museum exhibits, food, and drinks cost extra.

Spend 90 minutes at Jasper Planetarium and Jasper Park Lodge learning the night sky from English-speaking astronomy guides. The tour combines a dome show with outdoor telescope viewing, meteorites, Moon and Mars rocks, Aurora Borealis science, and 4K views when clouds block the sky. A two-year telescope rain check helps protect your booking.

Spend 30 minutes inside Greenwich’s Peter Harrison Planetarium with a live Royal Observatory astronomer. The program may cover the night sky, satellites, the Solar System, or a star’s life, using spacecraft images and CGI. Showtimes are assigned from the day’s program, so check availability before booking.

Spend about five hours seeing Cusco after dark with a private local guide such as Valentin or Kenny. You may visit San Pedro Market and the Plaza de Armas, enjoy a pisco sour at sunset, then head to the family-run Cusco Planetarium for Inca constellations and telescope viewing. Dinner and hotel transfers are included, but planetarium entry costs extra.

Meet your English or Spanish-speaking guide at Regocijo Square at 17:30 for a short ride to Planetarium Cusco. Learn how the Inca read the southern sky, watch a dome projection of Inca constellations, then use telescopes outdoors if weather allows. The small-group visit lasts about two hours and costs $28 per person.

Spend three hours with Jasper Planetarium astronomy guides learning about planets, nebulas, deep-space objects, and local Indigenous constellations. You’ll watch a dome-theatre presentation, use optical telescopes and supplied binoculars, then walk about 480 metres to a selected dark-sky site. Clear skies bring the full experience. Cloud cover is covered by a two-year rain check.

At Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you’ll spend 35 minutes inside a climate-controlled, 42-seat dome with a live English-speaking astronomy guide. Expect Aurora Borealis over Jasper, Indigenous constellations, planets, nebulas, star clusters, Rocky Mountain glaciers from space, and a short question period at the end.

Meet in central Cusco at 5:40 p.m. for a minibus ride to Cusco Planetarium. An English or Spanish-speaking guide explains Inca astronomy, then a dome projection reveals Inca constellations. Professional telescope viewing follows when weather allows, with return to Plaza de Armas at 7:40 p.m.
